无碱玻璃纤维直接无捻粗纱（以下简称直接纱）是由漏板直接拉制而成。根据浸润剂匹配的树脂不同，分为热固性直接纱和热塑性直接纱。 热固性直接纱是指适用于热固性树脂，如不饱和聚酯树脂，乙烯基脂树脂、环氧树脂和聚氨酯树脂。应用于纤维缠绕、拉挤、手糊和编织成型工艺。终端产品有管道、压力容器、型材、化工储罐等。 热塑性直接纱是指适用于热塑性树脂，如PP，PA等树脂。应用于LFT，片材，双螺杆及GMT工艺等。
Alkali-free glass fiber direct roving (hereinafter referred to as "direct roving") is directly drawn through spinnerets.
Depending on the resin's compatibility with the sizing agent, direct roving falls into thermosetting direct roving and thermoplastic direct roving. Thermosetting direct roving is designed for use with thermosetting resins, such as unsaturated polyester resin (UPR), vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, and polyurethane resin.
It is applied to filament winding, pultrusion, hand lay-up, and weaving processes. End products include pipelines, pressure vessels, profiles, and chemical storage tanks.
Thermoplastic direct roving is used with thermoplastic resins, such as PP resin, and PA resin. It is applied to LFT molding, sheet molding, double screw molding, and GMT processes.
